Going on evening bike rides is an activity that Anthony and I have grown very fond of, and is something we try to do whenever we are not too tired after both getting off work. It lets us explore our amazing little city faster than walking would allow, and we have come across the coolest buildings and alleyways, and have also discovered many small shops and parks we never knew existed in the process.
Or my favorite: the thrill in my heart as I let go of the brakes, my hair whipping freely in the wind...
It is quite the task to peddle up all the steep inclines, but once we reach the top, we are rewarded for our efforts. To see glimpses of the sun setting on the ocean, and the colors it creates in the sky, is just magical. Or the occasional smell of sea water we can detect in the air. Or my favorite: the thrill in my heart as I let go of the brakes, my hair whipping freely in the wind as we speed back down the many hills our city was built on...such a feeling of real fear and excitement that leaves me both breathless, and grateful that we decided to get out and ride bikes in the first place.
