...gently touching the tentacles of a colorful anemone to have it retreat into itself, only to watch it bloom all over again shortly after...The simple pleasure of spending an undetermined amount of time on a shell strewn beach, leaving no stone unturned, as you make your way across the damp sand and through the tide pools - it is something that I could literally spend hours doing. The ah-ha! moment of coming across that perfect little shell or rock, spying a tiny, scuttling crustacean, or gently touching the tentacles of a colorful anemone to have it retreat into itself, only to watch it bloom all over again shortly after...the sense of childlike discovery is something I absolutely love.
