The push and pull of the restless tide reminded her of the ebb and flow of her life.
Retreating to those waves, she sought out that immense silence which quieted her mind, and welcomed the soul-shaking sound of crashing water that woke it back up again. The enormity of the ocean put into perspective just how small her problems were, and made her realize that the earth is a wondrous place, and her time on it was not meant to be wasted or taken for granted. This place that she came to center herself was ever-comforting, always listening, and forever beautiful.
She went to the sea.
