I'm sitting and watching, desperately wishing there was some way to stop time. That there was a pause button on him somewhere I could press...My little Liam Nathaniel is exactly four months away from turning four years old, and I'm sitting up against his playroom closet watching him create voices and personalities, quirky likes and dislikes, for all his stuffed animals. I'm sitting and watching, desperately wishing there was some way to stop time. That there was a pause button on him somewhere I could press - a way to slow it all down and take it all in before it's lost and gone forever, before he's all grown up and ready to leave the nest. They weren't lying when they said it goes fast. Much, much too fast.
