Maybe they only exist to set up the running hugs and super hero capes,..

I'm not to the point where I can see magic in the tantrums, the smashed crackers all over the floor or potty training. But I'm not sure we're supposed to find magic in those? Maybe they only exist to set up the running hugs and super hero capes, the toddler attempts at big words and family dog piles to be that much greater.
