His skin pooling light. Jonathan's dark-haired morning curls. Butter melting on toasted bread. Eggs for him. Coffee for us. Already asking and learning and hugging out hurt. Open palms, a quiet heart. Working, working, waiting. Here in the simple now, this is our gift. Thank You, Jesus.
