Finally Established

We spent a few weeks sleeping on our mattress on the floor, stacking clothes and books into piles on the ground, and building IKEA furniture.

Finally feeling like we're "established" here in Brooklyn. When we first moved in, we had a ton of kitchen gadgets (lovely wedding gifts), but almost zero actual furniture. We spent a few weeks sleeping on our mattress on the floor, stacking clothes and books into piles on the ground, and building IKEA furniture. After we had the bones of the apartment in place, it has taken us another year to add personal touches and make this small house a home. We couldn't be happier with our corner of the world.
