I don't talk a whole lot about my kids' food allergies here. I know I mention them now and then, but for me Instagram is a place where I like to come to forget for a few minutes, a creative outlet where I can connect with others.
There's a lot of fear involved in raising food allergic children, but I am so proud of how much my cooking abilities have grown.We all have the things that keep us up at night, life-threatening food allergies are one of mine. We can't do take-out and we can't buy half the ingredients on the shelf, but I've learned to make a whole lot of food from scratch and I am pretty darn proud of that.
