by Kathleen Motoa

Last night, The Open Table was really special. Maena and I were able to host two of our students who are graduating. We got to listen to their dreams for the future.

As silly as it sounds, it felt sacred to hear about their hopes. It made me realize that I never want to grow numb to that. I want to be a safe place where people can share their dreams, and I realized that's where the whole premise of The Open Table began: a haven and judgement-free zone of honesty and intentionality.
