Teaching O at home has been exactly what I hoped it would be. I had a review recently and spent the night before looking through his notebook of work from the first nine weeks of lessons. I couldn’t help but smile and laugh at the fun things we’ve done, and seeing how he views and translates our lessons into pictures and worksheets and projects.

There have been plenty of days of bad attitudes (on all our parts) and trudging through the work, but overall, our days have been light and fun and full of joy. We are working on making it more so every day, and I’m glad I get to watch and learn beside him.
