Yesterday at breakfast, and just before I went to work, Lourenço asked me if I could make him pancakes. This simple request left me heartbroken, because it made me realize that we haven’t shared moments like this, with a homemade breakfast and everyone seating around the table, for a while.

So, today I woke up, made us some pancakes and cinnamon and lemon syrup and it was so lovely! Now we are getting ready to go for a little walk in the sun.
