Our home is like a member of our family— in joyful times it has celebrated with us, and in hard times it has grieved with us. Just as our hearts stretched as parents, this home expanded to embrace our babies too. I swear it has a heartbeat.

We’ve been in our small home for 3 years now and it’s always been a dream of mine to give it its own little corner of the internet, to honor just what it’s meant to us these past few years as our very first home. It’s unlikely that we will be here forever, and that breaks my heart to think about, but for now, for today, we had an opportunity to capture our home, our 5th family member, just as she is and doing just what she does.

She makes toddler feet sound like music, she smells like nourishment, and she’s been all we ever needed and more. I can’t WAIT to share her with the world soon when our home tour is published— stay tuned!!
