Smoothie bowls, tiny spring blooms, sunshine, 60 degrees, a breeze floating through an open window, and hands in the dirt are all a form of medicine for me. This week has felt tough energetically, I’m not sure why, and honestly, I don’t know if the “why” is important.
But today, just for today, I’m savoring the moments of pure joy and connection, while I allow the dark cloud to pass over.Something is moving through me, Griffin hasn’t been napping, oh and last week’s weather was a doozy on my mood. But today, just for today, I’m savoring the moments of pure joy and connection, while I allow the dark cloud to pass over. Care-taking my body the best I can.
Our smoothie bowl features:
-a handful of frozen swiss chard from last year’s garden
-almond milk
-one banana
-a handful or more of frozen bluebs
-hemp seeds
-dash of maple syrup
-a scoop of chocolate plant based protein powder
*Sorry I never really measure. A dash of this and a handful of that is how I roll.
