One of the things I struggle with when it comes to decorating is my love for simple white walls. I’m often told it feels cold or boring, but it’s the exact opposite for me. I find it soothing and calm.

One of the things I struggle with when it comes to decorating is my love for simple white walls. I’m often told it feels cold or boring, but it’s the exact opposite for me. I find it soothing and calm.

I never want to put things on my walls, but I also worry it might look too plain or like we just moved in. (I have yet to hang anything on my bedroom walls and we’ve been in that space for over a year.)

So while I’m still in the process of rearranging and figuring out this space, I’m enjoying the simplicity of my lack of wall decor since I’ll add that last. Plants always seem to work well though, so I can always fall back on just adding more plants if it feels too sparse!
