This morning the most delicate tiny white blossoms on a tree outside our bedroom window caught my attention— in all of our years here neither myself or my husband had ever seem them before. I brought a few branches in to grace our dining room table and replace the magenta roses (also from our backyard) that were in the vase previously.

It’s bittersweet knowing that this isn’t our forever home, so I savor little details like these. Our next home, whenever that day comes, has big shoes to fill.
