Words & Photography
by Kate Masenhelder

At the moment, Reid is more interested in being told a story, rather than reading books. So, this week’s story basket was a simple tale I made up about a little frog who was lonely living in his pond.
One day, he set off looking for a friend, however he couldn’t live in a tree with a magpie, a henhouse with a chicken, or a burrow with a fox. Finally, after feeling disheartened, he found a little frog friend in her own little pond.

Reid loves even the most simple story, as long as it’s myself or his daddy telling it. If you haven’t told little stories with the animals and figures you have in your home, I highly recommend starting with any tale that comes to mind.
