Truly grateful my husband is home with me today and tomorrow. A slight reprieve, a respite together.

He is considered essential and has been working so much lately out in the midst of the public, we haven’t had much time together, more than a day or few hours in the evening here and there at all in the last several weeks, leaving him exhausted. My anxiety is through the roof lately worrying about him and everything else.
I’ve stopped reading the news every five minutes and tried to breathe from social media because it only fuels my fear. Instead, I have been checking in on friends, lots of prayer, taking long walks after work, and reordering my days to flow as normally as possible...
I’ve stopped reading the news every five minutes and tried to breathe from social media because it only fuels my fear. Instead, I have been checking in on friends, lots of prayer, taking long walks after work, and reordering my days to flow as normally as possible in spite of my own work ramping up. Also finding some calm in our pre-pandemic weekend routine of coffee, Netflix, Instagram memes and never leaving the house.

I hope you all are staying safe, healthy, and resting in moments of calm.
