Since leaving “home” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I’ve realized home is not a physical place.
Home is abstract; it is within me. My permanent address is my own self...Home is neither the house I grew up in, nor my first apartment. Home isn’t where my family is, or a in city I’m familiar with. All of those homes are temporary, a physical place that I can leave at any time. Home is abstract; it is within me. My permanent address is my own self, moving from place to place and city to city. I carry home with me everywhere I go.
