It's been a stupid long journey home - but we finally made it.

We slept in thatch roof cottages, bathed in the river, ate larva in our breakfast...

The jungle was beyond an incredible experience, and one I would consider myself extremely blessed to ever see anything like again. We slept in thatch roof cottages, bathed in the river, ate larva in our breakfast, and got a crash course in learning the language of a people group practically unheard of outside of their area. We were constantly surrounded by people of another world and regularly had to stop and convince ourselves that it was real, and we were there.

My brain and my heart is still processing it all.
