My grandmother and her siblings loved and were devoted to each other more than any sibling set I've ever seen. It was really quite remarkable.This past weekend, I went with my Mom to South Carolina for a memorial service for one of her aunts. My grandmother and her siblings loved and were devoted to each other more than any sibling set I've ever seen. It was really quite remarkable. My great grandparents had 11 children, 36 grandchildren (I think I counted correctly), and too many great and great great grandchildren to count. As I listened to my family share stories and memories of my wonderful aunt, and the family in general, I couldn't help but think how proud my great-grandparents would surely be for the legacy they left.
