"...It is okay to let your heart feel all that hurt when the world has punctured it. My little ones, you will be fractured, your hearts -- your spirits. You will be bruised and left with terrible tiny abrasions on your gorgeous souls. However, your mother will teach you how to suture your wounds, how to nurse them as they recover in their own time, and how to forgive those that caused such interesting scars."

Spent part of the morning writing poems for my children, while I ate biscuits with jam and fruit --trying hard to feel brave.
