Words & Photography
by AJ Fernando

I could make a turn here, maybe there, and never felt scared of where I'd end up.
One of the things I truly enjoyed in Europe was going through alleys like this. Even if I was tucked in between tall buildings, I never felt trapped. I could feel history and character with every step, and in busier neighbourhoods, I sensed the local culture. I could make a turn here, maybe there, and never felt scared of where I'd end up. These small pathways allowed me to get lost and immerse myself in another world while at the same time know that I could always step out and find myself. So I simply let go and let these paths lead me.
