Words & Photography
by Stef Etow

Blank Canvas. In order to be full, it must first be empty.
It wasn't until recently that I realized...my creative freedom is only possible when I have cleared space, in my calendar, in my surroundings, and in my mind.
It wasn't until recently that I realized a crucial fact about myself: my creative freedom is only possible when I have cleared space, in my calendar, in my surroundings, and in my mind. Clearing menial tasks from my calendar allows me to nurture what is most important in my life. Clearing clutter from my surroundings opens up a visual playground for my imagination. And clearing extraneous thoughts from my mind creates a fresh start for new, inspired ideas.

For all my kindred spirits in the crowd, learn to embrace the art of the blank canvas, and you will truly know the meaning of focus, clarity, and joy.
