Words & Photography
by Kate Paskett

I've always thrived on celebrations and gatherings and big-to-dos. I adore tablescapes and details and the giddiness from penciling in holiday gift wrapping and celebratory outings.
...I'm learning to celebrate in new ways, like loving on these mint green squash instead of bright orange pumpkins, and harvesting rice instead of getting lost in a corn maze.
This year we will spend Halloween in Japan, Thanksgiving in Vietnam, Christmas in Australia, New Year's in New Zealand, Valentine's Day in Iceland, and my birthday in London. So I'm learning to celebrate in new ways, like loving on these mint green squash instead of bright orange pumpkins, and harvesting rice instead of getting lost in a corn maze. Here's to a bit of creativity and celebrating adventure alongside tradition.
