To Have More Fun

...I want to have more fun, more laughter and spontaneity, let my kids make messes and be ok with it. 

Something that's been brewing in my mind lately is how serious I take this job as a mama. I know it IS serious; an enormous responsibility and privilege. At the same time I want to have more fun, more laughter and spontaneity, let my kids make messes and be ok with it. I know I run a tight ship, but having more fun with my crew seems like it would be a good thing for all of us. Any advice on how to balance these two from my mama friends? Always a growing experience, this motherhood thang.
