...there I was running out there in my slippers, knocking on the truck window, asking this random stranger if I could buy her chairs.Two days ago this truck pulls up outside our house with two wicker peacock chairs in the back. Mike should have known better before telling me, because there I was running out there in my slippers, knocking on the truck window, asking this random stranger if I could buy her chairs. I think she thought I was on drugs, but $40 later Mike was bringing them both inside.
Cue happy dance. For the next year.
