I'm Thankful

I’m thankful that our days don’t have to be defined by a chunk of hours that are just plain hard. I’m thankful to be able to pull back and reset a bit. I’m thankful for rocking chair cuddles with both my kids after one heck of a half hour, a nap for little man, and some quiet playtime for AK.

...and some moments to remind myself that this everyday motherhood is raw and beautiful work of fighting for souls...

And I’m thankful for a sunroom sit for me; with windows and journal open, a breeze blowing in, and some moments to remind myself that this everyday motherhood is raw and beautiful work of fighting for souls and remembering to always keep “eternity stamped on my eyeballs”.
