This past week I’ve been consciously taking time to be outside, to slowly hang the clothes on the line, to water each plant in the garden by hand, and to collect eggs one-by-one.

I’m guilty of getting sucked into our fast-paced society filled with short cuts and conveniences, and often don’t give myself enough of these simple pleasures. There is really something to be said about slowing down and doing things the long way...
