All I ever wanted was this. To be a mother. To watch the sweetest bonds and friendships blossom. I kinda figured we would have all girls, not sure why I thought that. So when we had Riley, well, he was the best surprise! And when we found out about Hannah, all I could think of was how stinking excited Reagan would be. Sisters. An almost 5 year age gap BUT sisters.

My two girls. Two pieces of my heart these girls have. And looking at this special photo of Reagan holding Hannah- well, I feel like my dream has come to fruition. But I've gotta be honest, some days, more like most days, I feel inadequate and unsure of myself, and while I know that is completely not true, motherhood is HARD. Like, way harder than anyone can prepare you for.

But then, there are these moments where everything is right and you are exactly the mom those kids need and desire. Even those trying days and long nights. It's in these everyday moments, when they come up and hug you, and tell you they love you...you'll know that you were made for this, Mama.
