Am I confident I can pull off the monochromatic bike shorts thing? Absolutely not. Might I regret this a year from now? You know it’s a real possibility I’ll regret it tomorrow even. But you know what? I’m kind of over telling myself I’m too much of a Mum for everything now. Like somehow the act of birthing this beautiful child stole the life right from under me. Turned me from woman to caretaker.

This is the only go I get. This body. This life. This me. What could be more perfect than knowing I made a bunch of weird old funny mistakes because I was brave enough to try pretty much anything the world threw at me? Bike shorts and all.
